An evening to bring this regional language to life, with a theme for each evening!
This event is organised by enthusiasts of the Poitevin-Saintonge region.
Françoise DUBOIS, with the Maz'Arts association, had the idea of setting up a Bistrot patois.
The initiative was born of Françoise's irrepressible desire to keep her mother tongue alive in every possible way. Following on from the "i causons patois" show at Le Mazeau, this time it's going to be a bar where people can chat freely in patois, exchanging knowledge and savouring the richness of the language. The idea is to share a convivial moment in good humour, whatever the level of the speakers.
Anyone who wants to speak and learn Poitevin-Saintongeais - or simply come along and listen - is welcome. These evenings, which will be prepared and led by two or three good speakers, are designed to be fun, with a surprise theme concocted by the organisers.
