Every year, the Académie Vocale en Vendée Romane organises a two-part course;
- a Master class in lyrical singing ;
- a choral singing course.
At the end of our 18th edition, which runs from 19 to 25 July, the AVVR is offering two free concerts.

This concert on 25 July features the Academy Choir. Almost all the choristers come from the Grand Ouest region, and are top-level singers who work throughout the course under the direction of Pierre-Louis Bonamy, technical and educational director of the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire.
This evening, the Academy Choir presents works by Rutter, Elgar, Barber, Whitacre, Boulanger, etc. on the theme of "Man and Nature".
A number of soloists from the Master class in lyrical singing (who will be performing the day before in Faymoreau) will also be taking part in the concert.
