"Tribute to Joe Zawinul" Joe Zawinul left us in 2007, but his genius still inspires composers the world over. How could we not pay tribute to him? We've been waiting for this opportunity to present his unmissable repertoire, which explored the demands of jazz, the energy of rock, the lyricism of classical music, and drew on traditional African, Gypsy and Brazilian music... A pioneer and undisputed master of keyboards, he collaborated with Miles Davis in the late 60s, founded the legendary group Weather Report in the early 70s, and finally formed the Zawinul Syndicate in the late 80s. He has never stopped exploring new sound perspectives and freeing himself from all stylistic constraints.
