Pacific Big Band invite Faby Medina - Le Camembert Jazz Festival

The Pacific Big Band was born 22 years ago in Neuville-de-Poitou. It brings together 18 musicians who play covers in the purest tradition of the great American bands of the Swing era: Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington etc. A veritable musical vitamin cure, the Pacific Big Band offers an invigorating and comforting moment of sharing that audiences savour at every concert. Born in Paris in the Caribbean, jazz singer Faby Médina began her career at the age of 16 with the Gospel Chords Singers. Her career took off at the age of 20 thanks to Jérome Savary. Since then, in musicals, concerts, albums, commercials, featuring, video clips and short films, Faby has performed alongside some of the greatest French and international artists, including Brigitte, M, Tribal Jam, Michael Bolton, Guillaume Canet and Laurent Voulzy, Gérald De Palmas, Kelly Roland, Rod Stewart, Indochine, Thiéfaine, Tina Arena, Céline Dion, Jessie Norman, Cunnie Williams, Garou, I AM, NTM, Didier Lockwood, Alain Jean-Marie, Marc Laferrière, Amel Bent, Micky Green, Dick Annegarn and many others. The pianist and conductor Claude Bolling revealed her as a jazz singer and finally allowed her to blossom in this music. For the last fifteen years, she has been THE female voice of the Claude Bolling Big Band, with whom she has delighted audiences on international tours, at prestigious concerts and at jazz festivals.
