A wonderful walk to discover the Mervent forest.
The programme includes a visit to Sauvaget along the banks of the River Vendée, a long route through the forest and along the shores of Lac de Mervent, a panoramic viewpoint at the Mervent dam (Saint-Luc), a visit to one of the three remarkable trees in the forest: the Chêne à l'Ermite, a stopover at the La Lutine tea room and a return to L'Orbrie along more hedged paths.
Beware: the route is a little steeper along the lake.
