You can see the locks at Bazoin and continue along the Sèvre Niortaise to Damvix. You will then take country roads and small departmental roads. You can see the market gardening houses in the Marais Poitevin. Signposting in one direction only: anticlockwise. Starting point: Maillé church car park. Get off to a good start: take the Rue de la Mairie opposite. Markings: green plaque with a white drawing of a lock.
