Difficult mountain bike route linking the Mervent forest and the town of Fontenay-le-Comte.

This beautiful route combines rolling sections on the plains and more technical sections in the forest. The walk takes you through the villages of L'Orbrie and Saint-Michel-le-Cloucq. In the latter you can stop off at a lovely picnic area where you will discover a renovated wash-house. Start: Cemetery car park (Chemin de Bernevaud) in Saint-Michel-le-Cloucq Signposts: 2 yellow dots with the arrow and No. 13 Elevation gain: 218 m
