Vouvant Village de Peintres

Vouvant Village of Painters

Vouvant Village of Painters April to October 2026

In Vouvant, art can be discovered at the turn of a cobbled lane, behind a half-open door and above all in the Nave of the church.

Throughout the summer months, painters, sculptors and craftspeople open their studios and invite visitors to explore a veritable artists’ village in the heart of one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages.

Exhibitions, meetings, contemporary creations and artistic walks punctuate this cultural adventure between heritage and inspiration.

The Route des Ateliers

An artistic stroll through the heart of the village

Leaving from the Tourist Office near the Tour Mélusine, set off to discover a dozen or so artists’ studios, galleries and boutiques dotted around the village.

As you wander through the narrow streets, you’ll come across painters, sculptors, mosaicists, ceramists and craftspeople opening the doors to their creative worlds. Every stop here is a new encounter, every workshop a new exploration.
