Exhibition by Jean-Michel Rackelboom and Ghislaine Gautier Rackelboom
Jean-Michel Rackelboom is an artist based in Boufféré/Montaigu in the Vendée, where he teaches traditional drawing, painting and engraving techniques to his students. A true ode to nature, his fascination is reflected in his works, which explore the delicate balance of landscapes as metamorphoses of human nature or the human spirit. This exploration is particularly important, indeed essential, in the current context of ecological crisis.
After a career in equestrian theatre, Ghislaine Gautier Rackelboom embarked on a personal and authentic quest. Her encounters with other artists have nurtured this inner quest.
The artist specialises in modelling and sculpture, focusing her work on the theme of childhood. His works explore an intimate childhood, whether rediscovered or imagined. Through them, the artist shares fragments of his memories and personality. Her art blends introspection and universal expression, combining emotion and creativity.
