Exhibition of paintings (watercolours and oils)
Jeanne Noyer
Watercolour is the common thread running through my life. It's a demanding technique, a spontaneous expression that evokes the atmosphere of my world. Painting changing skies, the spirit of holiday memories, the wild grasses in the dunes, the sea at low tide and also the customs paths on the Vendée coast.
With the magic of water, the pigments fuse on the paper and surprise us, the light comes in, the whites illuminate the watercolour, and the visitor "looking" is left to dream, to imagine....
Maryse Pouchain
An amateur artist, my approach is simple, my work is above all figurative and in resonance with my environment, my sources of inspiration are multiple; my walks in the plain, the flowers in my garden, my travels, everything that surrounds me. My first objective is the pleasure of painting, painting what I like, whatever the fashion.
Whether it's the flamboyant red of the poppy, the golden yellow of the sunflower, the blue of the borage and the sky, the ochres of autumn, it's all this colourful world that influences my work and delights me.
