In Foussais-Payré, Les Ateliers du Goût chocolate factory is opening the doors of its traditional world to chocolate lovers. During this friendly workshop, Romy, a passionate chocolatier, will share her expertise and guide you through the making of chocolate treats. With a mix of making, tasting and a quiz on the history of chocolate, you’ll enjoy an original sensory experience… before leaving with your own creations.

Dive into the world of chocolate

Les Ateliers du Goût chocolate factory in Foussais-Payré welcomes groups to its workshop. As soon as you enter, the scent of cocoa sets the tone. The chocolatier presents his world of craftsmanship and shares a few of his trade secrets.

Take action

Then it’stime toget hands-on: participants make their own chocolate treats. Supervised by the chocolatier, they discover the essential gestures and manipulate the material. The workshop becomes a real moment of creation and sharing.

A gourmet journey

The experience continues with a quiz on the history of chocolate, from its discovery to the present day. Before leaving, everyone can admire the handmade creations on display in the boutique: chocolates, biscuits and pastries in carefully selected flavours.
