In Pissotte, Domaine Coirier is the embodiment of the Fiefs Vendéens Pissotte AOC appellation. Family-owned since 1895, this 22-hectare vineyard can be visited alongside the winemaker. From the cellar to the historic vats built into the building, discover the winemaking methods before enjoying a guided tasting in the shade of a hundred-year-old cedar. A friendly interlude in the heart of the Vendée vineyards.

The programme

An estate, an appellation

Harvesters since 1895, the Coirier family is now theonly winegrower in the Fiefs Vendéens Pissotte AOC. The estate covers 22 hectares of classified vines. Here, each plot tells the story of a unique and confidential terroir in the Vendée.

Behind the scenes in the cellar

Accompanied by the owner, discover the cellar in the heart of the village of Pissotte. Some of the cement vats are an integral part of the building’s foundations. It’s a real insight into winemaking methods and thedevelopment of the Vendée vineyards.

Guided tasting

It’s all about the senses. Chardonnay, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Pinot Noir… The “Origine” range reveals a variety of profiles: white, red, sweet, sparkling or brut wines. Tastings, often held under the hundred-year-old cedar tree, offer a convivial experience to suit all palates.
