A storytelling interlude in the heart of a mysterious massif

In the heart of the Mervent-Vouvant forest, this storytelling walk invites you to slow down and open your ears wide. Guided by a storyteller, you’ll make your way through an unspoilt natural environment that’s perfect for listening and imagining. The forest becomes the living backdrop for stories that make you smile, shiver or dream.

It’s a sensitive, timeless experience, ideal for sharing a different kind of collective experience, combining nature and oral tradition.

On the programme

A storytelling immersion in the heart of nature

The meeting point is at the edge of the Mervent forest. From the very first steps, the storyteller creates an atmosphere conducive to listening. The group progresses at a leisurely pace, following the rhythm of the stories and the path.

Legends rooted in the land

The walk is based on tales and legends linked to the forest and its mythical characters. Fauna, flora and landscapes become the backdrop for stories, combining the collective imagination with local traditions.

There are two possible atmospheres to suit you

The enchanted forest or the walk in the time of the fairy Mélusine: two options for tailoring the experience to your group. In both cases, the walk focuses on sensitivity, storytelling and sharing.

Proud of Vouvant, the village of my birth, I talk about it with the passion of a storyteller and the smile of a neighbour you meet at the market. With me, heritage never sleeps... it's told, it comes alive.
