A restored 17th-century dovecote, with rustic charm in a leafy setting, right in the heart of the market town of Vouvant. Everything can be done on foot, from drinking a coffee to strolling along the ramparts or skirting the river.

Everything is within walking distance, whether you're having a coffee, strolling along the ramparts or skirting the river. It's all very simple, and the birds are always singing.

Simplify your life in this peaceful, central accommodation in the Vendée bocage. Stone, river, forest and indoor-outdoor living are the assets of this house. We have chosen to keep the house in its original state, so there is no Wi-Fi access (although the network works very well and the village cafés provide access) and no television. In winter, however, there is a large fireplace, and in summer the fun is outside too, under the main maple tree.
Bed linen and towels are not provided (except in exceptional circumstances, for which we can provide a fee) and the house must be cleaned on departure.
