Synopsis
Mexico, 1913. Juan Miranda, a stagecoach robber, and John Mallory, an Irishman and former IRA member specialising in explosives, become acquainted. Juan has always dreamed of robbing the central bank in Mesa Verde and sees in John the ideal accomplice for his robbery. He blackmails John to persuade him to join in.
The two are plunged into the turmoil of the Mexican revolution, and Mesa Verde turns out to be richer in political prisoners than in gold bullion. In spite of themselves, the two friends become the heroes of a war that is not their own...
