From harbours to wash-houses, a lovely route through the heart of the wet marshes, with a visit to the "Rigole d'Aziré" nature reserve.
Start : port d'Aziré ( BENET)
Bearings : yellow - clockwise
Parking and WC on site.
Getting off to a good start: opposite the port, take the left bank of the canal (opposite the wash-house).
On the way: Two chain boats: the 1st, "La Rosalie", crosses the "rigole d'Aziré" and takes you to the right bank to reach Ste Christine. The 2nd is essential for crossing the conche (halfway between points 3 and 4 on the map). Our advice: bring something to wipe your hands with!
