From harbours to wash-houses, a lovely route through the heart of the wet marshes, with a visit to the "Rigole d'Aziré" nature reserve.
Start : port d'Aziré ( BENET)

Getting off to a good start: opposite the port, take the left bank of the canal (opposite the wash-house): ATTENTION SINCE MARCH 2025: CLOSURE OF THE LEFT BANK (defective footbridges), diversion by the right bank (side wash-house).
On the way: Two chain boats: the 1st, "La Rosalie", allows you to cross the "Rigole d'Aziré" and take the right bank to reach Ste Christine. The 2nd is essential for crossing the conche (halfway between points 3 and 4 on the map). Our advice: bring something to wipe your hands with!
