The Université temps libre is organising a lecture by Christian PIPET, a qualified literature teacher.
Zola, the novelist behind Les Rougon-Macquart and a journalist involved in the Dreyfus affair, had a winding career strewn with pitfalls, from a difficult childhood to a death in obscure circumstances. Nevertheless, he remains a writer who has found his place in the Pantheon of Letters, which has crowned an immense popular success and rewarded an imperishable body of work.
Lecture at 2.30pm in the amphitheatre of the Lycée Bel Air.
