The Domaine de La Grand Cour in the commune of l'Hermenault opens its doors to visitors
Set in 8.5 hectares of wooded parkland, the estate features a beautiful pond.
Visitors will discover a group of buildings comprising an entrance porch dating from 1660, which has just been restored, and 2 buildings from different periods: one from the 15th century with 2 towers and the other from the 17th century, whose walls have also just been restored.
These buildings are complemented by a typically Vendée barn and 2 hen houses with remarkable architecture.
The curious can visit the interior of some of the buildings, and enjoy a gourmet break.
Admission is free (with a contribution to heritage renovation costs).
The doors will be open on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September from 2pm to 7pm.
