We are delighted to welcome the creations of Penny G. Peckmann.
The cyanotype (the predecessor of photography) was invented in 1842. After coating a support with "magic powder", objects, plants and motifs were placed on it. Exposure to the sun then produces the typical blue colour.
Penny G. Peckmann used it as a source of multiple creations in watercolours, embroidery, textiles, etc.
