The Fête de la science is a national event designed to introduce the general public to the world of science. Every year, thousands of free events are held throughout France. For 2025, the theme of the Fête de la science is "Intelligence(s)".
A programme on artificial intelligence :
Artificial intelligence (AI) is now present in many aspects of everyday life and the professional world. It can simplify certain tasks, make a car autonomous, save time and improve performance... Artificial intelligence is certainly revolutionising and fascinating, but it also raises questions and can be frightening.
The Vendéthèque invites you to find out more about AI: introductory workshops, conferences, meetings and discussions...
Get to grips with artificial intelligence: events for everyone!
Come and discover the secrets and workings of artificial intelligence at the Vendéthèque, with events for young and old, novices and experts alike:
- On Wednesday 8 October at 3pm, an afternoon for young artists and budding scientists: "Animated colouring" workshop, from age 7 upwards.
- On Thursday 9 October at 8.30pm, an evening of sharing and exchange on AI: a meeting for the general public on "Artificial intelligence in business".
- On Saturday 11 October, a theme day for everyone:
Robot" workshop at 11am, for children aged 7 and over
Getting started with AI" workshops at 11am and 2pm
Making my daily life easier with AI" workshop at 3.30pm
Lecture "Generative AI: revolution or illusion?" at 5pm.
All events are free and require registration.
