Situated in the historic centre of Fontenay le Comte, a town of art and history with a renaissance heritage, this character house is ideal for a family or group holiday, with its 3400 m2 of landscaped, walled grounds where you can recharge your batteries.

A heated swimming pool (May to mid-October) is available, as well as games for children, including table tennis and a swing.

Dating from the early 19th century, it comprises two levels of 220m2 each, with on the ground floor an entrance hall, living room, separate kitchen, large lounge, master suite comprising a 43m2 bedroom with sitting area and 1 x 160cm bed, and a bedroom with 2 x 90cm beds. A shower room with toilet accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Upstairs, a landing doubles as a games room (table football-library-board games), a 45m2 bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed, 1 x 140cm bed and sofa bed, a bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed and 1 x 90cm bed, a bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed, 1 x 90cm bed and 1 cot, a shower room and separate wc.

Close to the Château de Terre-Neuve, at the gateway to the Marais Poitevin regional nature park, 8 km from the forest and lake of Mervent, and 1 hour from the Parc du Puy du fou, the Futuroscope and the beaches of the Vendée.
