The diversity of nearby activities (Puy du fou, sea, Marais Poitevin, bungee jumping, zoo, forest, amusement park, etc.) will appeal to everyone.
This gîte for 2 people is part of a group of 3 independent gîtes with a total capacity of 13 people.
The 3 gîtes can be rented together (group, family) or separately.
- The accommodation :
Hibiscus, our 5-person gîte, has its own independent entrance, parking and a large private terrace, not overlooked.
The gîte, on the ground floor and first floor (steep staircase) comprises :
- 2 real bedrooms upstairs (steep staircase):
- a master bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200) with shower and WC; - a bedroom with a double bed (140x190) and a single bed (90x200); - on request, the bed can be converted into 2 single beds (90x200).
- The fully-equipped kitchen (appliances, dishwasher, washing machine) opens onto the lounge/dining area.
- The upstairs shower room includes a WC and shower.
- The large, private, leafy terrace easily accommodates a large table and garden furniture. It is equipped with a BBQ (charcoal and firelighters at your expense).
- A private wifi network
- A few services:
- We provide you with the essentials for a pleasant stay:
- tea towels, sponges, dishwashing detergent and hand washing cream,
- dishwashing powder and washing powder,
- floor and surface cleaning products.
To get things off to a good start, we make sure you have the following on your arrival:
- toilet paper, paper towels, household aluminium foil, bin liners,
- spices, oils, vinegar, sugar,
- coffee powder and pods, coffee filters,
- shampoo and shower gel.
Outdoor facilities:
The heated swimming pool (10x5m, 1.4m flat bottom) is open from June to September inclusive.
The leisure room (billiards, table football, table tennis, board games, etc.) will appeal to children and adults alike.
The heated swimming pool, leisure room and outside areas are shared between travellers.

15 minutes north of the town of Fontenay le Comte
5 minutes from Vouvant (bakery and mini-market)
less than 10 minutes from La Châtaigneraie (all shops, Super U, Lidl, etc.).
The building is located in the countryside close to hiking and cycling trails (GR de Mélusine, etc.).

We can provide "Basic bed linen": fitted sheet and pillow cases.
- We can provide bed linen and towels.
You can choose the "End of stay cleaning" option.
