On Sunday 21 September, Château de la Cressonnière will exceptionally open its doors and its magnificent setting to host a double musical and pictorial creation by painter Hélène Menanteau and pianist Axel Denhaerinck. They will perform live and create a unique work before your very eyes.
A 16th-century gem run by the Barreau family, Vanessa and Laurent, the château has not opened its historic site to visitors since 2021.
Come and discover this exceptional jewel located 5km from Vouvant, which will be the setting for Hélène Menanteau's exhibition and her closing concert.

Musical creation and freely improvised variations based on François Couperin's Barricades mystérieuses.
The exhibition of works by Hélène Menanteau, initially presented for the 28th Rencontres d'Art Contemporain at the Château de Saint Auvent and comprising 38 pieces stamped on China paper, will be reassembled on the walls of the Château de la Cressonnière for its final presentation and offered for sale, piece by piece.
Opening up a dialogue on peace, this creation is dedicated to all the victims of conflict and war in the world.
