Take advantage of World Theatre Day to discover what goes on behind the scenes at the Fontenay-le-Comte theatre!
To mark World Theatre Day, the Théâtre municipal is opening its doors for an immersive evening dedicated to the performing arts, in the heart of an authentic Italian-style theatre.
The programme includes a guided tour of the venue and its backstage areas, a performance of an extract from a show currently being written by the Compagnie du Noyau, followed by a convivial chat with the artists about theatre and theatre practice.
It's an invitation to meet the theatre from the inside, share a living experience and celebrate artistic creation together.
