Fontenay-le-Comte organises its traditional Christmas Market. Right in the centre of town, close to the main shopping streets and in a pleasant setting along the Quai Poëy d'Avant, this event is a growing success and welcomes many visitors every year.
With Father Christmas arriving in his sleigh and his fireworks display, the strolling processions, the many events, the sale of craft products and the shows, the Fontenay-le-Comte Christmas market is a must at the end of the year!
In the heart of the town, on the banks of the Vendée, come and discover the craftspeople, producers and shopkeepers set up in the chalets between the Quai Poëy d'Avant and the Place de la Bascule.
Friday 19 December: Christmas market from 5pm to 9pm

- 6.30pm - 8pm: Cie Remue Ménage strolls through the streets of the town centre and the Christmas Market
Saturday 20 December: Christmas Market from 10am to 9pm
Highlights :
- 2.30pm and 4.30pm: the Dukes of Burgundy in lights
- 3.30pm and 5.30pm: the illuminated white stilt walkers
- 6.30pm: Arrival of Father Christmas and fireworks display
Sunday 21 December: Christmas market from 10am to 7pm
- 2.30pm and 4.30pm: Batt mobile
- 3.30pm and 5.30pm: Fanfare Noël au balcon
