This year's Maillezais Christmas Market is another not-to-be-missed event, set in an exceptional site and with a warm, oriental atmosphere!
The Vendée department is delighted to welcome you for two weekends in a unique setting.
Take a trip back in time to the heart of a medina. Stroll through a magnificent forest of oriental plants in a landscape of Berber tents. Visit the spice market and take in the scents of tasty local produce.
Around sixty exhibitors will welcome you and guide you in your Christmas preparations and shopping.
Entertainment throughout the weekend: Dream Merchants, Star Discoveries, Oriental Dreams, Fire Installations.
Children can leave their letter to Father Christmas with the Dream Merchant and her pony, who will deliver it personally!
The abbey church will be illuminated with music every evening.
Tastings: hot chocolate, mulled wine, crêpes and galettes.......
Tearoom in the salt cellar on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
