Attacking Petosse's forgotten refuges!
With helmet on and headlamp firmly screwed on, you're ready to plunge into the bowels of the village... Accompanied by an enthusiastic guide, you set off to explore incredible galleries dug into the rock, at the crossroads of history and adventure.
At times you'll have to crawl through narrow passageways, crossing secret passages to reach vast, silent rooms. These places were once refuges, where inhabitants hid to escape wars - from the Middle Ages to the Second World War. Every nook and cranny whispers the stories of those who survived.
And to finish on a high note: a climb up to the church tower, the high point of this immersion in history.
It's an immersive adventure for one-day explorers, storytellers and anyone looking for raw emotion beneath the surface.
