Murder Party Le Secret d'Alix
From 8 years old, theatrical animation
Adults 13.50 euros, children 8.50 euros aged 8 to 16, families 39 euros (two adults and two children)
The Château de Terre Neuve opens its doors to a night of timeless investigation, between
history and mystery. On Saturday 23 August 2025, young and old alike are invited to take part in
Murder Party entitled "Le Secret d'Alix" (Alix's Secret), where the walls of the castle become
witnesses to a forgotten crime.
The year is 1871. Alix du Fougeroux, wife of Octave de Rochebrune, dies suddenly
officially the victim of an illness. However, a century later, her
her descendant, the young Élisabeth, discovers her diary at the château. Between the
lines, a doubt begins to creep in: what if Alix had been murdered?
Guided by a magic watch, participants will travel into the past to observe
scenes recreated in different rooms of the castle. Their mission:
decipher the clues and finally uncover the secret behind Alix's death.
Designed for families aged 8 and over, this immersive experience is a blend of theatre,
heritage and investigative games. Lasting between 45 minutes and an hour, the Murder
Party takes place in two sessions, at 7.30pm and 9pm.
Places are limited. Bookings must be made by telephone on 02.51.69.17.75 or by
email to [email protected].
Organised by the Château de Terre-Neuve team, this event has been scripted and directed
Lisa Mourain, as part of the cultural development of the site. Between
enigmas, thrills and historical discoveries, this evening promises a plunge into the mysteries of the 19th century.
