The Ville d'art et d'histoire department has joined forces with the Société Vendéenne des Arts and art teacher Cristel Chauvin to offer a modelling workshop for children aged 8 and over.
During the sessions, participants will learn about modelling techniques - pinching, smoothing, assembling, engraving - and create a clay object inspired by archaeological discoveries in the Sud-Vendée region: a prehistoric Venus, a small Gallo-Roman vase or a decorative motif from local collections.
The workshop will close with a convivial vernissage, followed by a snack with parents, on Friday 27 February, from 3pm to 4pm.
