Following on from his book Le Pouvoir Rhétorique (Rhetorical Power), Clément Viktorovitch, who has a doctorate in political science and is a popular broadcaster on France Info, Clique and Quotidien, is appearing on stage for the first time in a gritty drama.

He plays the communications adviser to the President of the Republic who, after being brutally ousted, seeks revenge. His weapon? A conference, in which he decides to reveal all the secrets they used to conquer power...

In this, his first one-man show, Clément Viktorovitch does more than pass on the tools of deciphering: he questions the very place of discourse in our political life. When words are emptied of their content, when communication is reduced to an art of not saying, how can we still form an opinion? Is it even possible to debate? And what if what we have lost along the way is quite simply... the very meaning of democracy?
