Pierre Barouh's flying papers" exhibition
Les Papiers Volants de Pierre Barouh" is an exhibition of previously unpublished documents (texts, posters, photographs) by an extraordinary artist. A Vendéen by adoption, a Brazilian at heart, an adventurer of words, images and sound, Pierre Barouh (1934-2016) wrote and performed over 200 songs, including Un homme et une femme, Des ronds dans l'eau, À bicyclette and Samba Saravah. Through his independent label Saravah, founded in 1966, he has produced and promoted such major talents as Brigitte Fontaine, Jacques Higelin, Maurane and Allain Leprest, to name but a few.
