Shaped by man for generations, the pollarded ash tree has long been a precious ally for market gardeners. This discreet tree hides many superpowers. But today, this old hero is in a fragile state. Join Jérôme, a passionate nature guide, on a journey to meet this emblematic tree: understand its history, its uses, its inhabitants... and the issues hanging over its future. It's an accessible, lively way to see the marsh in a different light. TUESDAY 21 JULY - 2.30pm - Meeting point: 2 le bourg - salle des fêtes - 85420 Saint Pierre le Vieux - Duration: 1h30 - Open to all, children aged 6 and over (not recommended for younger children) - Limited places: booking essential at the Tourist Office - Visit not accessible to people with reduced mobility TOUR INSTRUCTIONS : - Please arrive with your ticket 10 minutes before the start of the tour. - Please bring suitable footwear and clothing, as the tour is outdoors. - Animals not allowed - Minors are the responsibility of their parents. - Ticket office closes at 6.30pm on Monday 20/07.
