Soirée Observation de la Lune

  • Animation
  • Nature - Environment
85390 Mouilleron-Saint-Germain

Description

We invite you to discover the Moon, its formation, its geology and its mysteries, and to observe it at close quarters.
The Moon will be in its second day after first quarter. This will be an opportunity to take a walk on the terminator, the transition between day and night, and discover the relief, craters and other lunar formations. Although the Moon is moving further and further away from us, we'll also be taking the opportunity to take a look at Jupiter. Telescopes and binoculars will be available at the observation site, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about their use. Remember to wrap up warm, as temperatures can be low at this time of year. The site is accessible by car, with on-site parking. It is located Place du Maréchal De Lattre in Mouilleron Saint Germain. ATTENTION: The event may be cancelled if the weather does not allow us to observe the sky. We will keep you informed on the website and at www.facebook.com/largeteauastroclub.
