A 1660 house nestling in the heart of the Vendée countryside, a bubble of comfort in a medieval world.
This large character house is set in 14,000 m² of greenery.
It has a swimming pool and 2 spacious bedrooms on the theme of the Knights of the Round Table.
The Galahad room (son of Lancelot du lac, in charge of King Arthur's stables) is on the ground floor and can sleep up to 4 people. It is decorated with elements reminiscent of horses.
The second room, Pélinor (Perceval's father and a great lover of wine), is upstairs and can sleep up to 3 people. It is decorated with elements reminiscent of the vine.
But above all, what makes it different is that it is run by two passionate people with degrees in cookery (CAP cuisine, Charcutier/Traiteur, and Karine is a trained herbalist).
Breakfast and table d'hôte are times when visitors are pampered and served in period costume. The dishes are homemade and mostly grown on site.
We combine modern comfort food with traditional products.
A warm welcome is our greatest asset and our absolute priority.
At the Domaine Médiéval we have a phrase that sums it all up: "Here you arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend".
