L'orchidée du Marais Poitevin

L'Orchidée du Marais Poitevin is a gîte renovated in April 2017 in a stone barn, with a private garden not overlooked, near an organic milk farm.
Situated in the countryside, 2 km from the market town of Maillezais, it's an ideal place to relax or get together with friends or family (up to 45 people can stay on site).
On the ground floor there is a large living room (36m2) with a fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob, pyrolysis oven, microwave, dishwasher, 2 large fridges, 100-litre freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer), a lounge with a sofa bed for 2 people, two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and WC. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms, shower room and wc.
For your comfort, we have paid particular attention to the excellent quality of the bedding.
Towels, household linen and sheets are provided, and beds are made on arrival. Cleaning products, crockery and washing powder are available.

Bedroom 1: 1 x 160cm bed, 1 x 120cm bed and 1 x 90cm bed with toilet and bathroom.
Bedroom 2: 1 double bed (160cm) and 2 single beds (90cm) with toilet and bathroom.
First floor :

Bedroom 4: 1 x 160cm bed and 2 x 90cm beds

Cleaning on your behalf at the end of your stay: 100€ to be agreed with the owner before your arrival.

Equipment available on request:
- High chair, cot, changing mat, bath.
- International plug.

A large barbecue and garden furniture make for pleasant evenings.

For your leisure activities, you will find on site
- table tennis
- shuffleboard
- boules pitch (shared with the other gîte).

In a spirit of respect for nature and people, we encourage you to sort your rubbish and give your food waste to our chickens, which are close to the gîte.
