ANNULÉ Feu d'artifice et Fête nationale à Maillezais

Following the issuance of a red heatwave alert, the Prefect of Vendée has decided to ban, amongst other things, fireworks throughout the department. Maillezais Town Council, in consultation with the organisations involved in the event and Saint-Pierre Town Council – which was due to host the pétanque competition – has decided to cancel all the festivities scheduled for 11 and 14 July. There will be no rescheduling this year, but we look forward to seeing you in Maillezais in 2027 for the next National Day celebrations!
