Description
Concert organised by the Le Camembert association
With *New Home*, Archibald Ligonnière releases his very first album as a bandleader. An album that is both intimate and generous, it marks a decisive milestone in his career as a musician: the affirmation of a personal voice, following years of collaborating, accompanying and experimenting. To bring these compositions to life, Archibald Ligonnière has surrounded himself with exceptional musicians. Each brings their own colour and artistic vision. The balance between the timbres – from the breath of the soprano saxophone to the depth of the double bass, from ethereal guitars to lyrical piano – weaves a rich, organic and inspired collective sound.
Born in the Vendée, Archibald Ligonnière took to the stage at the age of 8. By the age of 11, he was already playing in jazz clubs. At 14, he moved to Paris and frequented the capital’s iconic clubs. He quickly attracted attention and went on to accompany some of the biggest names on the French and international scene: Scott Henderson, Richard Bona, Jimmy Haslip, Nicolas Folmer…
