Comité de lecture De Rives en Livres

As part of its efforts to promote reading and writing, the Vendée Sèvre Autise Community of Communes has set up the ‘De Rives en Livres’ reading committee in partnership with seven local libraries (Benet, Bouillé-Courdault, Damvix, Rives-d’Autise, Vix and Xanton-Chassenon). This cultural initiative brings together groups of readers (participation is free of charge), who vote for a novel from a selection of five to seven books and organise a meeting with the winning author. For the 2026 edition, seven authors have been selected: • Rachid BENZINE • Claire ELDER • Christophe WOJCIK • Loris CHAVANETTE • Michael HANIAN • Adélaïde BON • Séverine CRESSAN One of these authors will succeed Marie PAVLENKO, the 2025 winner with ‘Traverser les montagnes et venir naître ici’, Sylvain PRUDHOMME, the 2024 winner chosen by the reading committee for his novel “L’enfant dans le taxi”, and Isabelle AMONOU, the 2023 winner for “L’enfant rivière”.
