Every year, the Académie Vocale en Vendée Romane organises a workshop comprising two parts: - an opera singing masterclass; - a choral singing workshop.At the end of our 19th edition, which takes place from 11 to 17 July, the AVVR is offering two free concerts (donations welcome).

The concert on 16 July features the participants in the Masterclass; they are professionals, pre-professionals or musicology students. This evening, they will perform the pieces they have been working on throughout the week with their teacher, Alain Buet, an internationally renowned baritone. The Academy Choir will make a brief appearance to present the programme for the following day’s concert at the Church of Foussais-Payré.
