As part of the National Artists’ Days
Drawing from a live model emphasises the moment rather than the end result. By letting go of habits and inhibitions, the artist takes risks, trusts themselves and paves the way for an authentic stroke. The emotion and energy released make the artistic expression powerful and unique.
This is what we aim to highlight with this event, organised by the Vouvant-based association ‘Au-delà de l’eau ateliers d’art’. The town of Vouvant will host this first ‘Drawing from Life in Vouvant Weekend’ at various iconic venues across the town on 2, 3 and 4 October, during the National Artists’ Days.
