A festive day in the heart of the marsh, to discover life in the past and our equine friends!
Horse and Traditional Trades Festival
From 9.00 am:
- Farmers’ market
- Horse fair
12.00 noon:
- Lunch with entertainment by the band “Les Mariachis”
2 pm: The Caballicarne Company
- Theatrical procession featuring a puppet and its real horse
- Theatrical procession featuring live drawing (drawing from life)
- Theatrical street performance featuring a stilt-walker and a miniature Shetland pony
- Equestrian show
- Folk dances with Les Avant-deux de Damvix
8.00 pm:
- Dinner with entertainment by the band “Good Vibes”
ALL DAY:
Entertainment and various exhibitions:
- Traditional crafts
- How a sawmill works
- Threshing and winnowing of mogettes
- Various crafts: leatherwork, embroidery, basketry…
