#Hashtag Déclic explores the unsettling beauty of a world where our bodies hunch over screens, absorbed by the ceaseless flow of social media – a modern-day prosthesis that has become inseparable from us. In this piece, Riyad Fghani presents a choreography of the ‘digital body’ – this contemporary body reshaped by automatic gestures, frozen postures and rhythms dictated by our devices. Through a hip-hop dance that is as physical as it is finely honed, the performers explore the invisible yet profound impact of technology on our movements, our relationships and our presence. At double speed, with a dual flow, #Hashtag Déclic questions our illusory connections and our thirst for real contact. The visual world, subtle and immersive, draws us into an augmented reality that is unsettlingly familiar. Driven by the virtuosic energy of the Pockemon Crew, this sensitive journey on the frontier between the real and the virtual uses dance as a vibrant language to examine our digital silences and reconnect with an essential part of our humanity.
