An event as part of the European Heritage Days, organised by the Outre Mesure theatre company.

The ‘Compagnones Studiantes’, comprising pupils from the Compagnie Outre Mesure, invite you on a journey to the heart of the Renaissance. Discover some of the era’s most iconic dances, choreographed by Robin Joly and accompanied by music by Pierre Phalèse, the printer Nicolas Duchemin and other Renaissance composers, performed vocally and on period instruments. This event will take the form of a musical and choreographed tour through the streets of Fontenay-le-Comte: setting off from the market, a musical stroll punctuated by several dance stops, then arriving at the museum for the finale and a participatory ball. *************************** Meet at the market halls at 10.00 am Stroll through the town from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Free
