An event organised as part of the European Heritage Days by the ‘Ville d’art et d’histoire’ department of Fontenay-le-Comte.

The Viète Secondary School Alumni Association welcomes you to the former visitors’ lounge (to the right of the entrance gate) to discover the school’s history through class photographs, school books, lists of prize-winners and documents from the period. A slideshow traces the school’s development, from its founding to its closure, and also pays tribute to the pupils who lost their lives during the First World War.
