Jeremy Dutcher is one of those artists who both move and fascinate audiences. A virtuoso tenor, daring composer and member of the Wolastoqiyik First Nation, he weaves his people’s ancestral songs with classical music, jazz, electronic music and experimental pop to create a sound experience of rare intensity. His second album, *Motewolonuwok*, confirms the scope of an extraordinary artist, acclaimed by *Vogue*, NPR, *Rolling Stone* and *Télérama*. On stage, accompanied by Stefan Schneider on percussion and Samuel Gleason on electric guitar, he creates a hypnotic world where the voices of the past meet powerful, modern textures. Through songs in Wolastoqey — his endangered Indigenous language — and original compositions, each track becomes an act of remembrance, resistance and beauty.
