Astro Club 85 invites you to discover the starry sky.

Free entry Meet at the Plaine des Sports in Fontenay-le-Comte As it does every year, the AFA (French Astronomy Association) is organising the Nuit des Etoiles nationwide. It’s a chance to get out and look up at the wonders of the starry sky. We invite you to join us on Saturday 8 August at the Plaine des Sports in Fontenay-le-Comte at 9.30 pm. The evening’s programme includes: A slideshow on the theme of the Sun and eclipses, with explanations and viewing tips for the eclipse on 12 August. Guided stargazing with the naked eye and using various instruments (binoculars and telescopes) made available to the public. Star charts will be handed out to participants.
