Film by John Landis (1980) An iconic film of the 1980s, this feature film brings together some of the biggest names in African-American music, particularly jazz (Cab Calloway and Ray Charles, amongst others). With a soundtrack that has left its mark on generations, the story of brothers Jake and Elwood Blues takes them across the state of Illinois with humour and whimsy, as they search for the musicians who made up their former band, ‘The Blues Brothers’. A classic not to be missed!!
