Discover the natural, heritage and forest environment of Mervent through an exceptional collection of tools from yesteryear and reconstructions of scenes from the woodworking trades.

Three main themes are represented: flora and fauna, the history of Mervent and the tools of the woodworking trades. Scenes of naturalised animals, as well as models of heritage sites, are on display in the museum, and can be visited on your own or with a guide. New for 2026: Arboretum tour. 2026 SCHEDULES - Individuals: April to October, 10am to 6pm every 3rd Wednesday of the month. - Groups (adults, children and school groups): bookings required for groups of 10 or more. RATES 2026 : - Individuals : Self-guided tour: €5/adult, €3/child (aged 5 to 18), free for children under 5. Guided tour: €9/adult, €6/child (5 to 18 years), free for children under 5. - Groups (adults, children and schools): Guided tour and sensory workshop: prices on request for groups of 10 or more.
