La Petite Recepte is a charming cottage nestled within the grounds of Château de la Recepte, a 16th-century castle situated in Vouvant, which is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. It features a large heated swimming pool in your private garden.

The house has been fully renovated and comprises three double bedrooms: two with king-size beds and one with twin beds that can be pushed together to form a super-king-size bed. Two additional cots are available on request. It features a recently fitted kitchen, two shower rooms, a living room with a smart TV, a dining room and a swimming pool with an L-shaped terrace that enjoys sunshine all day long. The kitchen has French doors opening onto a sunny terrace, complete with your own tower offering a choice of a shaded or sunny spot for your al fresco meals, with stunning views of the medieval tower of Mélusine, where King John I of England once stayed. On arrival, you will be welcomed by Sarah and presented with a welcome hamper; all beds will be made up and clean bath and pool towels will be provided. We look forward to welcoming you to Vouvant.
