This former forge has been converted into a 50 m² 3-star "Meublé de tourisme" flat with 2 bedrooms in a property dating back to 1842, with access to the shared heated swimming pool from 1 June to 30 September and its wooded grounds.

Our guest house, LA FORGE, is a former blacksmith's workshop that has been converted into a 3-star holiday home. The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds, 1 living room, 1 fully-equipped kitchen and a shower room with 1 large shower. Outside, there is a covered area for meals sheltered from the sun. Charcoal barbecue provided. Simple, contemporary decor. One parking space is provided. Access to the wooded park, bowling green and heated swimming pool from 1 June to 30 September. The swimming pool is shared with the other tenants. A bakery, mini-market, butcher's, post office and pharmacy are all within walking distance in the village. Wifi available. Situated at the entrance to the Marais Poitevin, our village is close to the landing stages for discovering the Venise Verte. Just 15 minutes from the Renaissance town of Fontenay-le-Comte, Vix is also just 34 km from La Rochelle and around 1 hour from the first Vendée beaches.
